Pressing On Screening: Recap

The screening of Pressing On: A Letterpress Film was definitely a night to remember. With Sangha Press showing out to present their stunning work, the room was excited and curious, browsing the excellent display of letterpress pieces and waiting for the film to begin. When it was time for the screening to start, nothing could have prepared us for the emotional journey and beautiful storytelling Pressing On had in store.

It was an incredibly moving film, and so wholly captured the feelings of connection and profound loss we designers experience at the hands of ever-changing technologies. We were thrilled to help bring this documentary to Tallahassee, and are grateful we got to share it with such a wonderful creative community.

Huge thanks go out to CoLab for hosting this event, and providing top-notch refreshments for everyone throughout the night! We also couldn’t have brought Pressing On to Tally without the help of SalterMitchell PR and our awesome board member/event-head Jesse Taylor. Another shout out to Sangha Press for donating a free Letterpress workshop at the end of the night for two lucky raffle-winners, and for helping us print up some killer promotional posters.

Check out the Pressing On website, for more info on how to bring more screenings to your city!
