Member Spotlight: Chris Crouch

For this month’s Member Spotlight, we are celebrating graphic designer and our Events & Community Director, Chris Crouch.

Chris Crouch is a skilled, award-winning photographer and designer with a very adventurous spirit. His design sense is as eclectic as his shiny object syndrome with work ranging from very clean and commercially stable to very raw and expressive. Working with a diverse clientele has created the ability for his work to live in numerous magazines, logo books, billboards, merchandising, and much more.

Chris is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.A. in graphic design. He currently works as Creative Director at Grova Creative.

In his spare time, he enjoys creating music, watching 90s cartoons and movies, skateboarding, mixed martial arts, and the great outdoors. Also, he is the biggest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan you’ll ever meet.

Chris serves as the Events & Community Director of AIGA Tallahassee.

How did you find AIGA Tallahassee?

I was looking for networking opportunities for design professionals in the area and crossed paths with former TLH chapter VP, Jesse Taylor, who invited me to a Designer Drinks.

Why is creativity important?

Creativity is a catalyst for progress. It’s finding a better ways to explain concepts, persuade ideas, explore the world, tell stories of our existence, and document history. Without creativity, innovation would fall behind and lead to a bland, confusing, and all-around uninteresting world.

Make sure to follow Chris on Social Media!
