Member Spotlight: Rachel Cameron

Another year, another edition of AIGA Tallahassee’s Member Spotlight! This month we celebrate designer and AIGA TLH board member, Rachel Cameron.

Rachel Cameron has a passion for the arts and has dedicated over a decade to studying, teaching, and creating. She moved to Tallahassee in 2012 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Studio Arts. Rachel then graduated from Florida State University with a Masters in Art Education in 2015 and taught for three years.

Since 2018, she has worked as a graphic designer and currently works at SalterMitchell PR.

Rachel currently serves as AIGA Tallahassee’s Membership Director. She was also an organizer for Design Week Tallahassee 2020.

How did you find AIGA Tallahassee?

I was encouraged to go to Coffee and Creatives as a way to network during my first design internship.

Why is creativity important?

It is a way for the brain to express, problem solve, and explore complex thoughts/emotions as a way of escape and/or enjoyment for the artist.

Make sure to follow Rachel on Social Media!
